06/08/26 To support exceptional sales momentum and its continued expansion into the UK market, leading bathroom manufacturer SONAS Bathrooms has announced the appointment of three Area Sales Managers to strengthen its UK team.
Following nearly fifty years of success in Ireland, SONAS expanded into the UK market in 2023. The business has continued to perform strongly and has invested in a UK distribution centre in Redditch which became operational this summer, enhancing its existing infrastructure and enabling nationwide distribution.
As part of this ongoing investment in its UK operations, SONAS has appointed three Area Sales Managers to strengthen its UK-based team. These managers cover West London and Home Counties, North London and Anglia, and the Midlands.
Agnes Taylor has been appointed Area Sales Manager for West London and the Home Counties. With fourteen years of experience in the bathroom industry, including four years in bathroom showrooms and ten years as Sales Manager, Agnes will oversee key high-value accounts across the region.
Throughout her career, Agnes has delivered strong sales growth in highly competitive markets and brings extensive knowledge of the territory she will be managing. In her new role, Agnes will focus on supporting SONAS Bathrooms’ existing merchant network while driving further growth and expanding the company’s presence across the region.
Agnes commented: “I’m delighted to join the SONAS Bathrooms team at such an exciting stage of the company’s expansion into the UK market. I’m looking forward to introducing our fantastic products and customer service offering to even more customers across the region.”
Rebecca Abela has been appointed Area Sales Manager for North London and Anglia, bringing twenty years of retail experience, including fifteen years in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.
Alongside her extensive industry knowledge, Rebecca holds a GNVQ in Art and Design and is trained in Articad software, which enables her to support customers with showroom design, helping bring their chosen products and layouts to life.
Rebecca has developed a strong customer-focused approach, with experience spanning both showroom and external sales roles. In her position at SONAS Bathrooms, she will focus on supporting the company’s existing customer base while helping new customers discover the brand’s product offering.
Rebecca commented: “My customers are at the heart of everything I do. The experience I have gained working in retail, both in showroom and external roles, allows me to understand their needs and find the right solutions. I look forward to supporting our existing customers and welcoming new ones as they discover our products.”
Lydia Harvey recently joined the SONAS Bathrooms team as Area Sales Manager for the Midlands. Bringing five years of experience within the bathroom and interiors industry, alongside previous experience in Area Sales Manager roles, Lydia will support customers across the region while helping to grow SONAS Bathrooms’ presence in the Midlands market.
Lydia is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting customers in finding the right solutions for their individual needs.
Committed to continually developing her industry knowledge, she recently completed a Basic Plumbing course at Shrewsbury College to further strengthen her technical understanding of the products she works with.
Speaking about her appointment, Lydia said: “I love working closely with retailers and seeing display areas and customer projects come to life. From product selection and focusing on the finer details through to the finished space, it’s incredibly rewarding to see everything come together.”
The three new Area Sales Managers will work closely with Dean Stokes, UK Sales Director at SONAS Bathrooms, alongside the wider team of UK Area Sales Managers.
