Drayton’s Wiser 2nd Generation system combines the benefits of smart heating with a range of new smart home devices to create an all-in-one solution for home automation.
Products that can now be incorporated into the Wiser system include a smoke alarm, window and door sensor, water leakage sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, motion sensor, plus lighting dimmer, shades control and power micromodules.
As well as offering added convenience through the management of these devices via the Wiser Home app, new sensors provide homeowners with peace of mind that their home is well protected from potential risks such as fires or floods.
The Window/Door Sensor, for example, detects the status of windows and doors and sends this information to the Wiser Home app, providing notifications if the status changes when the user is away from home. This information can also trigger automations or ‘Moments’, for example turning off the heating if a window is open in order to save wasted energy.
The app also provides quick access to favourite devices for more convenient monitoring and adjustment and access to favourite modes for quicker activation. Plus, homeowners can get personalised tips and advice about how to reduce their energy use.
