Daikin and D.P.H. Darlington Limited celebrated a successful launch of a Sustainable Home Centre
London, 1st June 2026 – Daikin and local partner D.P.H. Darlington Limited officially opened their new Sustainable Home Centre in Darlington, marking the start of a practical, community-focused resource for homeowners, installers and industry professionals seeking low-carbon heating solutions.
The official launch event on 29th April welcomed local tradespeople, homeowners, training attendees and industry partners, for live system demonstrations, guided showroom tours and introductory training sessions.
D.P.H. Darlington Limited’s move into the Sustainable Home Centre model reflects a broader trend among merchants and installers supporting local decarbonisation. Live Daikin heat pump demonstrations gave attendees hands-on experience with real installs and performance data.
The centre’s kitchen and bath exhibition and on-site joinery workshop showcased energy‑efficient heating solutions for both retrofit and new‑build projects. The training facility ran taster sessions for installers and is now taking bookings for a rolling programme of technical courses.
